As the working world copes with the rapid shift to work-from-home business operations, Smarsh has joined a Microsoft partner program aimed with an eye toward helping financial services firms meet the stringent demands of compliance regulations. With many firms ramping up their use of collaborative software, the go-to-market partnership will allow Smarsh to help Microsoft accelerate adoption of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.

Smarsh’s market-tested, cloud-native solution provides unique capture capabilities for Microsoft Teams. Data capture of Teams content by Smarsh includes coverage of one-to-one chats, multi-party chats and persistent channels. Replies, deletes, edits, GIFs, emojis, links, stickers and any files are retained by Enterprise Archive for automated indexing to a search-ready status.

As part of Microsoft’s One Commercial Partner program, Smarsh will co-sell Enterprise Archive along with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Office 365, with a focus on financial services. Currently, Smarsh supports deployment of Enterprise Archive on Microsoft Azure, enabling an enterprise-class, unified communications data platform, including retention and full contextual information covering 80-plus communication channels through Enterprise Archive.

“Smarsh is proud to be a member of Microsoft’s One Commercial Partner program, and to go to market with Microsoft in support of a common vision,” said Brian Cramer, Smarsh CEO. “Together we will enable the global financial industry to take advantage of the benefits of modern communications by solving the most stringent communications compliance challenges.”

Microsoft’s co-sell ready initiative is part of the Microsoft One Commercial Partner Program, featuring comprehensive sales and marketing support for select partners such as Smarsh.
